Kelly limits the class to 5 students to ensure that everyone gets the attention required to master the core skills of machine piecing. There will be a Saturday morning trunk show to learn about Anna Maria's new collections and see some of her upcoming quilts. This trunk show will be free and facilitated by a Northcott representative. She promises to bring the attendees "goodies." There are no promises on the goodies, but the quilts are beautiful.

Rag Quilt Class: Rag Flannel Quilt Class

Make a rag quilt using pre-stamped flannel blocks (using our Accuquilt) and recycled quilting batting (from our longarm work). The project is designed for beginners to intermediates. Fun and quick, the average student will finish most of the blocks and leave the session with clarity on the assembly at the end of the class. The time to finish just depends on how fast you sew. We prefer you bring a 40-weight variegated thread and pre-cut the squares using our Accuquilt dies. Machine rentals in the shop are $20.00 per session. Stop by before the class and pick out your materials so that we can have your kit ready for you. If you have your own flannel, we will stamp it for you on our applique machine for $40.00. Or you can rent the machine for $15.00/hour You need five yards of high-quality cotton flannel (From four-to-five different fabrics) and 2 yards of batting.
