Sample Quilt. Whether you are a beginner quilter or someone who needs to get back to the basics, this is the comprehensive class for you. We will talk about fabric selection, tools, and learn the step-by-step process of cutting, piecing and creating a quilt top. Nine different basic blocks, sashing, border, and binding techniques will be taught in this class. You will be well on your way in the world of quilting at the end of this class. There is “homework” for this class. This is a 4-session class. Each class is 3 hours long. You will have a pieced quilt top at the end of this class if you can do the homework in between the classes. Machine rental for the series is $20. You may use the shop machines or use your own.

We are excited to announce that Jacqueline de Jong is teaching her 4-Day masterclass for us at the Eden Suites in Lancaster, PA. The techniques in the class will apply to her kits of Luna, Miss Daisy & Miss Dottie, Dancing Dragonflies, Fairy Dance, and BeColourful Colorstories. You can check out her kits at https://www.becolourful.com/happiness-20.html. Kits to be ordered in January 2026. Book into the Eden Suite room block by April 2026, for the discounted room rate of $195.00 per night for a king or a queen-bed room. The class with Jacqueline is 9-5, but the room will be set up to enable sewing 24 hours. The four-day class is June 29, June 30, July 1st, and July 2nd. Primrose Quilts will host a small reception for the attendees (optional) the night before the class on June 28th from 6-8 PM at their Georgetown Shop. A down payment of $100 is required to hold a seat. Full payment is due 30 days before the class. Due to the popularity of the event, the class sign-ups will only be in the shop.
