Flannel Fringed Quilt

Rag Quilt:
This class is offered twice. Each class has two sessions.
Class dates: (two sessions to complete the quilt) 09/10 and 09/17, or take the Second Class on 11/12 and 11/19
Class times: 5:00-8:00 PM
Using our Accuquilt system, stamp out fringed squares to quickly assemble a warm flannel quilt.
On the first night, we will design the quilt and cut our squares. On the second night, we will sew the squares.
The process of cutting the squares can be messy so be prepared.
Skill Level Beginner
The class cost is $70.00/student for the two sessions, and it is limited to six students. Please select your flannel before class.
The class will have a materials list that will include King Tut thread or a 30-weight thread to match your flannel.
Good-quality flannel — enough to make 200 10-inch squares.
Batting 80/20 is enough to make 100 6-inch squares.

Instructor: | Lora Cecere Hypes |
Instructor Bio: | She inherited her love of quilting from her mom. Her family were active quilters in West Virginia’s Mountains for multiple generations. She would hurry home to work on quilt tops when she traveled over the last decade. Lora has quilted for over 15 years and takes classes yearly on long arming to stay fresh. Lora is a modern quilter and loves to teach. This shop in Hanover is Lora’s retirement business. Lora hopes that Primrose Quilts becomes the premier destination site for quilters seeking a peaceful retreat, the completion of beautiful quilts, or classroom inspiration. |
