Bonnie Hunter Mystery Sew Along
In this community sew-along, students will share tips and techniques as we work through the pattern together. The shop will offer some fabric kits based on Bonnie’s color palette — but the choice of fabrics is yours. During each session, you can use the shop's AccuQuilt system, our Studio 180 rulers, and/or Bonnie's rulers to develop the shapes.
The Bonnie Hunter sew-along meets on Friday evenings. The session will start with a discussion of the clue, the use of fabric, and special cutting techniques. During the two-hour session, the participants are able to sew during the last hour of the class. Lora, fresh from the Studio 180/Tucker University training, will help the attendees understand the differences and advantages of different ruler types -Tucker method/Creative Grid/Block-Loc, etc—for v-blocks, diamond rectangles, squares within a square, corner pops, flying geese, and other construction techniques.

Cost: $15/session or $75 to participate in the entire sew-along event.

| Instructor Bio: | he inherited her love of quilting from her mom. Her family were active quilters in West Virginia’s Mountains for multiple generations. She would hurry home to work on quilt tops when she traveled over the last decade. Lora has quilted for over 15 years and takes classes yearly on long arming to stay fresh. Lora is a modern quilter and loves to teach. This shop in Hanover is Lora’s retirement business. Lora hopes that Primrose Quilts becomes the premier destination site for quilters seeking a peaceful retreat, the completion of beautiful quilts, or classroom inspiration. |
