Jacqueline de Jonge Master Class. Deposit for the April 8-11th class
The class is a four-day master class ending on Sunday at 1:00 PM. Taught in our new facility, all students will have the option to either bring their own machine or use one of ours.
We will kick off the class with a reception in our shop- a get-to-know-you session with appetizers and drinks- and then we will follow by giving each attendee time to set up their workspace.
Class will be 9-5:00 PM, but three meals and snacks will be provided so attendees can sew in the shop's open space. Each attendee will be provided with a list of available discounted hotels closer to the class time.
Options for the kits will be made available in November 2026, and the kits will be cut from yardage in the shop in January, allowing each attendee ample time to read their pattern and pre-cut their kits. We will be working with Jacqueline to get her newer kits and yardage for the class.
Materials required:
Neutral thread 50 or 60 weight
A working machine capable of stitch length of 1.5-2.0 (you can also use our machines)
Karen Kay Buckley Purple scissors (available in the shop)
Clover Glass pins: available in the shop
The cost of the class is $600 and does not include the kit. A deposit of $100 is required to hold your seat.

| Instructor Bio: | Jacqueline DeJonge, Featured Instructor, The Netherlands Bio: My quilting life began in 1978 when I saw a magazine picture of a Log Cabin-pattern quilt. Right away I had to try my hand at this fascinating work - my sister still has the resulting pink Log Cabin. Since then I have taught myself and tried over the years to reach a level of perfection, not to show off, but because I love the beauty I can achieve through my designs. My goal is to inspire quilters all over the world with beauty and color. I have always been creative, but quilting has hooked me. To be able to work well at something you love is a miracle and a gift from God. I started my BeColourful pattern line in the Netherlands in 2004. BeColourful is now a family owned and operated business in the United States since 2007. My quilts have been displayed worldwide and have won international awards. They are based on traditional designs with a contemporary, colorful twist. In 2004, at the encouragement of my father, I entered the Open European Quilt Championship and won the Color Trophy. Since that year I have lectured and conducted workshops throughout the United States, Canada, Australia and Europe. Interviews have been published in several magazines, and in 2011 I was profiled and featured on the Ricky Tims and Alex Anderson online Quilt Show. I think my passion for quilting helps make me an encouraging and personable teacher. I love to share my enthusiasm for my designs with others and to bring them to a different and higher level where they can find their own artistic skills. I also show my students that quilts that may seem difficult in a picture are actually not that hard after all. After living in Delft for more than 50 years, I moved to the other side of the country in September 2020 to live closer to my family. Family has always been very important to me, and that made it easy for me to leave the busy west of the country behind and make a new start in a new hometown. |
